The Unity of Duality

The collection explores the relationship between mentor and student as a continuous exchange of knowledge, experience, and perspective. Rather than fixed roles, both exist in constant transformation: one offers direction while the other questions, interprets, and ultimately teaches something in return.
This relationship is deeply connected to sport, where behind every athlete there is someone who guides, challenges, and supports their path.
From this idea, the collection’s graphic system is built around three symbols.
The mentor is represented by a simplified compass, defined by its cardinal points and always pointing north. Rather than dictating a path, it represents guidance and direction.
The student appears as a blurred form with undefined boundaries—a figure still absorbing, questioning, changing, and finding its own shape.
Finally, two circles represent oneness: the moment when mentor and student come together and the distinction between who teaches and who learns begins to disappear.
To guide while being guided. To be a mentor and a student at the same time.

La colección explora la relación entre mentor y estudiante como un intercambio continuo de conocimiento, experiencia y perspectiva. Más que roles fijos, ambos existen en constante transformación: uno ofrece dirección mientras el otro cuestiona, interpreta y, eventualmente, también enseña.
Esta relación está profundamente conectada con el deporte, donde detrás de cada atleta existe alguien que guía, reta y acompaña su camino.
A partir de esta idea, el sistema gráfico de la colección se construye alrededor de tres símbolos.
El mentor está representado por una brújula simplificada, definida por sus puntos cardinales y siempre orientada hacia el norte. Más que dictar un camino, representa guía y dirección.
El estudiante aparece como una forma difusa, de límites indefinidos: una figura que continúa absorbiendo, cuestionando, cambiando y encontrando su propia forma.
Finalmente, dos círculos representan la unión: el momento en que mentor y estudiante convergen y la distinción entre quién enseña y quién aprende comienza a desaparecer.
Guiar mientras se es guiado. Ser mentor y estudiante al mismo tiempo.
